Description

A passionate second-generation coffee producer, José Ignacio Gómez is known for his dedication to excellence and innovation at Finca El Paraíso in Buesaco, Nariño. His coffee stands out for its exceptional quality, consistency, and unique flavor, born from years of experimentation and care. Beyond producing outstanding coffee, José uses his experience to give back to his community — creating spaces for learning, tasting, and collaboration that inspire local farmers to focus on specialty coffee and build a more sustainable future together.

LEGACY – José Gómez
Tradition that breathes through time.

The Legacy Collection honors producers born among coffee trees, those who inherit not only land, but a lineage. Their hands work with the memory of their elders and the vision of a more dignified future. Each bean emerges from the balance between what was learned and what has been reinvented: tradition refined through generations.

Producer Profile
José Ignacio Gómez is a keeper of high–mountain coffee. A second–generation producer, son of effort and soil, he has transformed Finca El Paraíso into a workshop of precision, sensitivity, and respect. His processes are a constant dialogue between past and innovation: patience, fermentation, intuition, risk, and devotion.

But his impact goes beyond the cup. José opens his doors to teach, share, and inspire. He believes knowledge must flow like a river, and through this generosity he encourages other producers to embrace specialty coffee and uplift the future of Nariño.

Cup Profile
A bright and juicy cup, beginning with sun–warmed tropical fruit and ending with a whisper of panela sweetness. Clean red fruit notes. A silky body. A long, elegant finish.
